Any advanced tips for someone who’s done this a few times? I feel like I could be doing it faster but I’m not sure what to tweak.

Definitely! One advanced tip is to use a ratchet wrench with the right socket size for the fasteners. It can speed things up significantly. Also, consider investing in a torque wrench when reattaching to ensure everything is secure!

I just removed my Rhino-Rack roof bars using this guide. It was super helpful! Just a tip: using some lubricant on the fasteners beforehand really made a difference in getting them to loosen up. Cheers!

Awesome guide! I really struggled with my Thule AeroBlade bars last time. Any specific recommendations for dealing with stubborn fasteners? They always seem to be rusted or stuck!

I had a tough time with my Yakima JetStream bars. The covers were a pain to remove! Would love more detailed instructions on how to tackle stubborn covers in future articles.
